For Information and Removal of AdzGalore

    - automatic and manual removal instructions
    - personal assistance provided online or by phone to safely remove AdzGalore.

Getting rid of AdzGalore Permanently

One of the major problems that is affecting the Internet is that there is a constant stream of difficult programs out there that even the most diligent anti-virus/anti-spyware applications can't keep up with. That means that there is often a period of time between when a difficult program introduced to the web and when there is a way to stop it, and during that time, most users are out of luck. In the case of AdzGalore, many top programs don't know how to rid your hard drive of it, so it simply stays on your computer, offering thousands of pop-ups and hijacking your browser during every session. Understanding it is the key to removing AdzGalore.

What is AdzGalore?

AdzGalore is a program that often "piggybacks" on other programs and installs itself into your web browser. It then performs several different tasks that can drive some computer users crazy. The point of AdzGalore is to entice users to purchase the products that come up in the AdzGalore ads. Not only does AdzGalore send a constant stream of pop up ads at the user, it will also hijack your browser again and again, sending it to a variety of product-based websites, all for the purpose of trying to get you to buy the products they advertise. Most often, the products are rogue anti-virus or anti-spyware products.

What you might notice with AdzGalore

It won't take you very long to notice that AdzGalore is installed on your hard drive. It will pop up in your web browser almost right away, and the cavalcade of ads, pop-up windows, computer scans, and browser hijacks will begin.

Since AdzGalore begins running the moment it is installed on your machine, you will also notice a significant slowdown in the way your computer runs. AdzGalore eats valuable system resources. This process takes up much of your available memory so that you can't do many other things on your computer at the same time.

If you aren't familiar with browser hijacks, they work like this: you will open your favorite web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc.) and tell your browser to go to your start page. Instead of going to your favorite page, it will instead take you to a web page that you likely never wanted to visit. In the case of AdzGalore, it will be a web page for a product it is trying to sell you. Even if you manually change back your home page, the change will only be temporary, and you will notice an almost immediate return to a home page you didn't request.

How did AdzGalore get there?

A program like AdzGalore is never intentionally installed on anyone's hard drive. It may have gotten there as a "piggybacked" program. When you download a piece of free software from the Internet, it is often bundled with other programs to help offset the cost of web hosting, development, and other costs. While you may love the primary program, the bundled software is often troublesome.

You may also have gotten AdzGalore automatically installed on your hard drive from a predatory website, or even from an email attachment that you didn't realize you opened. If you are still using an email client that automatically opens your attachments, consider changing to a more manual way of sending and receiving email.

Removing AdzGalore

There are two main ways you can remove AdzGalore for good. The first is to download and install a trustworthy anti-spyware program like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (Malwarebytes has free malware removal) . This is probably the best possible option. Talk with friends, family members, or coworkers about their anti-spyware solutions, and research each suggestion carefully by reading software reviews. Find a product that meets your needs both in terms of usability and features. Once you choose a program, download, install, and update it. From there, scan your entire computer. It should immediately recognize and remove AdzGalore from your system. Update the program regularly, and scan your system about once per week to avoid future problems.

Your other option is to perform a manual removal of this program. Please note that any manual removals of any programs should only be done by a certified computer professional. The reason is that you are not only deleting files from your hard drive that can't be recovered, but you are also going to be changing your computer's registry, which can be very dangerous if you don't know how.

It is highly recommended that you back up all of your computer's information before attempting a manual removal of AdzGalore. This includes all of your personal information and all of your system registry keys. Because this program is so dangerous to remove on your own, and because you can often miss parts of it during the removal process, automatic removal with a trusted anti-spyware program is highly recommended.

Removing AdzGalore Automatically/Safely

For free automatic removal we recommend using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. This program is widely recommended by reputable third-party sites, so you can be reasonably confident of its ability to safely get rid of AdzGalore and any hidden Trojans. As a precaution we recommend double checking your system with SpyHunter. This program requires paid registration to enable deletions, however it has a money back guaranteed and is the top of the line in malware removal. It should catch malware that evades Malwarebytes and block anything that tries to reinstal itself.
